Anh-Thuy Nguyen is a multi-media/transdisciplinary artist, whose work spans from photography, video to installation and performance art. Using her personal history as a resource, Anh-Thuy's work delves deeply into conflicting emotions, feelings, and thoughts through the portrayal of often strikingly strange yet hauntingly beautiful visual manifestations of gain and loss. She received a BFA in Photography from The University of Arizona and a MFA in Photography/ Video from Southern Methodist University. Anh-Thuy has exhibited and taught photography, painting, linoleum, performance art, and concept-driven workshops nationally and internationally. Her works are in permanent collections of Amarillo Museum of Art, Tucson Museum of Art, Center for Photography at Woodstock among others. Hari Krishnadi is not only known as a musician, for since 1982, he has also been actively involved in photography. In his latest exhibition, which was held in late 2002, Hari Krishnadi - or Hari Pochang, as he is popularly known - mulled over the much-disputed issue of art and photography: when can a photograph be considered a work of art the way the art world views paintings as a works of art, the quiescent dilemma between photography as a work of art or art as photography. Since 1985, when Hari Pochang founded the Forum Fotografi Bandung (Bandung's Forum on Photography) he has contemplated the difference between photography as aesthetic medium of expression, and photography as autonomous work and practice equaling an artist's work. Pochang made his concern known in 1986 the Forum Alternatif (Alternative Forum) photo-exhibition in Bandung. But the discourse on photography in Indonesia remained divided between "salon photography" and photography for photography's sake. The problem began when photography in the archipelago was used as a medium to document social and anthropological artifacts.

Iswanto Soerjanto has been working for more than 2 decades as an advertising photographer but is seeking to find other forms of photography. As an experienced photographer he makes high quality photos. His interest in the history of photography and techniques leading him to experiment with the medium, stepping outside the traditional boundary of the modern digital camera. Iswanto Soerjanto goes back to the old camera obscura, antique tintype photography, glass photographic plates eventually omitting the negatives, and using unusual chemicals and different ways of processing the photo-sensitive paper. Lavender Chang’s focus lies in conceptual photography. Lavender’s artwork reflects the sensitivity towards the subtle nuances surrounding her. She hopes to focus on these experiences, to create a canvas allowing further contemplation and letting the passage of time leave behind traces of her mortality. Chang won the Noise Singapore Prize, The Crowbar Awards, Young Talent Programme, France + Singapore Photographic Art Awards and the President Design Awards. Michael Binuko (Koko) was born in Biak, Indonesia, August 31, 1987. He completed his education at the ITB Fine Arts program with a Bachelor of Arts in 2010 with a specialization in graphic arts, and the Master of Arts program in 2015 at the same campus. Apart from being an artist and being involved in various exhibitions both at national and international, he currently also works as a lecturer at his alma mater. Naraphat Sakarthornsap Lives and works in Bangkok. In many of his works, Naraphat presents stories of inequality in the society through photography and installation art, in which flowers play the leading roles. Many kinds of flowers that Naraphat uses usually comes with profound meanings. Those flowers have become the keys to finding the answers that are neatly hidden in the works of art. Naraphat’s early works presented the challenge against nature in trying to prolong the freshness of the flower before he develops the ideas to become the challenge against power and influence in the society through the pictures of these flowers. Therefore, do not believe in what the flowers in front of you appear to be. But look for the messages these flowers are hiding. Patriot Mukmin was born in 1987 in Tangerang, Indonesia. His art has been exhibited in several cities such as Bandung, Jakarta,Jogja, Bangkok, KL, Seoul, and Melbourne. He received first prize in Bazaar ArtAward 2011 art competition, and he was one of the finalists in both BandungContemporary Art Award 2012 and Indonesia Art Award 2015. He also had presented several solo exhibitions such as KUP: Titik Silang Kuasa66-98 in Lawangwangi Creative Space (2015), Vox Populi in Jeonbuk Museum of Art,South Korea (2016), Treachery of Paintings in Art Jakarta (2017), and Empty Unempty at Fuwari no Mori, Japan (2019).

Piyatat Hemmatat was born in Bangkok, Thailand in 1976. At the age of 14 he moved to Devon, England to complete his secondary education. He then focused his increasing passion for experimental arts by earning a bachelor’s degree in fine art from City & Guild London art school (1999 – 2001), followed by a master’s degree in visual art from Chelsea College of Art & Design (2002). Piyatat gained considerable practical experience while working at a design studio (2004 – 2007) in London. In 2007 Piyatat returned to Thailand and established his own eponymous studio and founded RMA Institute (2009 – 2019), a creative space exhibiting emerging, regional, and international photography as well as other media. His community project eventually evolved into Photo Bangkok, Bangkok’s first home grown International Photography Festival, that he founded (2015 – present). Piyatat’s multimedia explorations in Photography, Sculpting and Video Installation encompass a variety of narratives – from socio-political commentary, faith, spirituality, and abstract experimentation to groundbreaking conceptual photography – and have been continually published and exhibited both locally and internationally. Sabrina Asche works with photography, video, and text as well as various printing techniques. In 2010 she received a scholarship from the BMBF for her Bachelor studies at the University of Fine Arts, Braunschweig. Furthermore, she studied in the class of artistic photography and moving images at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leipzig, which she completed in 2020 with a Master degree. In 2018, she was supported by the Goethe Institute Dhaka for an exhibition at the Drik Gallery in Bangladesh. In the same year, she received a scholarship from the Goethe-Institut Mumbai. Sabrina Asche is currently the winner of the Documentary Photography Award 13 of the Wüstenrot Foundation. In 2020 she got the KdFS China residency scholarship. Shiho Yoshida is a Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1992. Their work was featured in several exhibitions at key galleries and museums. Born in Bandung, 1954, he is a self-taught photographer, since 1998 he became a lecturer at some University. one of the first member of Forum Foto Bandung. He has been actively as a participant and juror at several photography competition. Some of the photos are published in the book “Cahaya Anak Bangsa”, published by State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia. In 2013 received Artist recognition from the Federation of Photo Arts Associations Indonesia, (A.FPSI), Involved in the establishment of the Asosiasi Profesi Fotografi Indonesia (APFI) and Lembaga Sertifikasi Kompetensi Fotografi Indonesia (LESKOFI). Sophie Chalk (they/them) is an Australian multi-disciplinary photographic artist working primarily with concepts of queer identity, ecology, and historical consciousness. Chalk’s practice incorporates methods from traditional alternative processes to cameraless methods such as botanical printing and some of their own creation. A self-described queer alchemist, their most recent works combine found natural materials with raw minerals that have been adopted into photographic processes through history. Creating tension between representations of nature and nature itself. Born in Jakarta 1984 with the nick name "Memi". Know and love photography since high school, went to college majoring in Public Relations. Currently based in Jakarta – Indonesia and work as a freelance photographer, has attended several group exhibitions in Indonesia and abroad. My work is based on personal experiences and other forms of diaries also as a healing, most talk about self-identity and the role of women, play in the imagination, reality, and dreams, all three seemed to be vague in my life. The mind state which I called "White Box" a safe place for her contemplation. I also like experimenting with various media for my output as a form of innovation.

Guo is an artist that is interested in the conversations that exist within the in-between(s) of photography and painting. Using the everyday as physical material, she documents, transforms, and stitches the digital images of objects (whether obtained through pure photographic methods or other forms of digital imaging devices) into works that one might not know whether to call a painting or a photograph. Her underlying thoughts are always in a subconscious/conscious response to her home country, Singapore.
